Celebs like Kylie Jenner, Rihanna, Perrie Edwards and Ellie Goulding have flaunted their greys, and chic silver shades were seen on the catwalks at Jean-Paul Gaultier and Chanel. It can be a tricky look to pull off, but there are a number of ways to ‘go grey’ – take a look at our tips for different hair types to see how it could work for you.
Light hair has an easy transformation to grey – go for an icy blonde shade rinsed with a silver toner for a bright, bold look.

If you’re not quite ready to embrace the grey trend from root to tip, a stylish dip dye looks quirky and creative without going the whole hog. It’s great for darker hair too, and as there’s less bleach it’ll help keep your locks in tip-top condition.
The silver fox look isn’t just for older men – everyone’s favourite ex-Directioner Zayn Malik has been spotted with a new grey style that we love. Keep the colour blue-toned and go for a long on top, short on the sides cut.
